About me
I am dedicated middle school science teacher and space enthusiast with over a decade of experience in both informal and formal education. Holding a Master's in Science Education in Curriculum Design and Theory and a Bachelor's in Marine Science from the University of New England, I currently teach at St. John's Catholic School in Brunswick, Maine. My notable achievements include participating in the Teachers in Space Human Flights Zero-G experiment and leading students in building and launching CubeSatellites. I am committed to hands-on learning and developing innovative, scaffolded science curricula that foster critical and forward-thinking skills. My passion for marine biology and space science drives me to continuously seek opportunities to enhance my teaching and inspire the next generation of scientists and explorers.
